The top request we get from dealers is how to make their sites look more like their dealership. Here are a few tips we'd like to share and the features you can change to give your site the personal touch.
- The quickest and best way to make your site look more like your location(s) is to use photos and videos of your location. If you only send one photo of your store when we build your site, then the rest of the images get filled in with content form Kubota Brand Builder. You can always update your site by swapping out the stock photos from KBB with the ones you've taken around your store. This update can be made on the Homepage, About, Parts, Service, Contact and many other pages.
- Update the Hero area on your homepage. We started the platform with one choice for the hero area— that is, the large image/video area that is shown first on your homepage— but we now have three options that you can put your own spin on the content for. This can be our standard workhorse, the Hero Search, the Hero Carousel for those that want a more traditional look with images and video, and the Hero Panel to put more emphasis on your calls-to-action or showroom pages. - Adding new content to your pages. While we certainly want your site to start with lots of content on all of your pages, you certainly can update every page of your site as often as you would like with images, videos, and text that will keep your site visitors interested. You can swap out images and text on every page of your site by adding your own specials for Equipment, Parts, & Service, updating your company history on your About page, adding new employees to your Staff page, and any more ideas you might have. You are not limited on the number of pages on your site, so don't hesitate to create a new page if you need to do so.

Maybe it has been a while since your Design/Kickoff Call. Here are several of the style options you can switch on your site at any time. Just ask the TracTru Support Staff for help!
Choose between grouping the dealer and Kubota logos or separating them on each side of the navigation bar.
Header/Footer Color Themes (Mix and Match)
You can mix and match your header and footer choices to make them your own. The text color will automatically change based on the theme.
Page Background Color
Just like the header/footer, choose the page background color you like best and the text will change color automatically.
The Hero Carousel has classic sliding banners functionality, but you can add a video (or videos) as the background that runs up to 15 seconds. You just need to provide web-optimized videos. Videos and images can be mixed (example here). Content is always centered on the image/video.
This Hero area features one large image that has a Title, subtext, and a button linked to any page on the site. Three subpanels on the right are giant call-to-action buttons; you can select any image and text for these and link to any three pages on your site.
The most functional hero choice, the Hero Search features a large, static image that includes a site search bar and up to four call-to-action buttons. This is ideal for directing users to the most popular pages on your site whether they're on a desktop or mobile device.
